CHAIN Technology Received Bronze Award in ICT Startup (Software & Apps) At HKICTA Presentation Ceremony

With developing advanced Smart City solutions as the vision for future, CHAIN Technology Development Ltd. proudly received the Bronze Award in ICT Startup (Software & Apps) at the presentation ceremony for the Hong Kong ICT Awards (HKICTA) 2018.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Executive of HKSAR, Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor praised the winners for their innovative leadership and for the products, applications and business solutions they had brought to creative life. “I am naturally delighted to see that the new award categories respond so well to our Smart City Blueprint.” she said.

“The Bronze Award gave us a strong recognition and motivated us to push forward with our Hybrid Reality Platform (HRP),” said Wisdom Chan, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder at CHAIN Technology Development. “We look forward to continuing our focus on improving the user experience and functionalities of HRP for Smart City managers around the world.”

CHAIN’s flagship product, Hybrid Reality Platform is a Smart City management system that changes the way of massive geospatial and building data visualization. Integrating with the advanced devices including Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE) systems, interactive touch tables, and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, application scenarios of HRP can extend from roads with smart poles to factories with operator training simulators to hotels and shopping malls with digital directories.

“This is a user-friendly and centralized management information system. Integrated with IoT, big data, hybrid visual reality and digitization, it can address the problem occurs in the architecture, engineering and construction industry and add value to the convention Building Information Modeling (BIM),” The judging panel commented. “With this unified web-based software, compliant with international standards, the stakeholders can access anytime, anywhere and have real-time collaboration. Not only save time and cost, also helps to promote the smart city blueprint.”

This HKICTA 2018 presentation ceremony, which attracted over 1,160 entries competing for a total of eight award categories, was held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai on 4th April, 2018.
