Virtual Reality (VR) has been a hot topic amongst consumer electronics market, but its potential use is much beyond. CHAIN Technology Development is pleased to announce partnership with Lenovo, together to foster the application of VR for extensive commercial use.
As the first collaboration project, CHAIN customized visual content for Lenovo’s newly launched wireless VR device, Mirage Solo. In the demonstration, user with VR headset on could go into immersive environment of Tak Wah Park in Tsuen Wan, visually explore the heritage building by yourself.
At Lenovo’s product launch event, CHAIN was invited to showcase its Hybrid Reality Platform (HRP), a Smart City management system, which can be installed in the Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE) systems and interactive touch tables . Journalists, school representatives, as well as guests from different industries had first-person engaging experience with immersive virtual navigation. The application scenarios include but not limited to construction site monitoring, virtual classroom, simulation training, digital directory kiosks in shopping mall and/or building lobby.
Wisdom Chan, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of CHAIN, expressed excitement with forthcoming projects, “We are very pleased to work with Lenovo to encourage the application of VR.
