With the rise of Smart Cities throughout the world, CHAIN Technology Development is dedicated to push IoT integration and Smart City applications forward. It is a great honour for us to have the opportunity to showcase our Smart City solution, Hybrid Reality Platform (HRP), at the International Science and Research Institution Innovation Achievements Fair, taking place in the Dongguan International Exhibition Centre from 8-10 December 2017.
We are pleased to be invited by Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI), our partner on the Smart Pole project, to showcase our Ultra-Touch Table installed with HRP at the expo. Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, visited ASTRI booth and viewed our demonstration of touch table and Smart Pole applications based on HRP. Mrs. Lam expressed her interest in such an advanced technology of Smart City management.
HRP provides the visually attractive and intuitive dashboards that allow the clients to effectively monitor and manage IoT applications throughout the Smart City. The visual dashboards provide a vehicle for the clients to communicate performance and strategy effectively.
We used the Hong Kong Science Park’s reality model to demonstrate how HRP could assist the clients in monitoring and managing the daily operations of smart city. According to the data collected by the Smart Poles installed in the Hong Kong Science Park, the system can visualize all the metrics of environmental conditions, as well as map areas of high pollution, traffic congestion, and high level of energy consumption. It enables proactive management control over performance and strategy execution.
Currently in its 14th year, the International Science and Research Institution Innovation Achievements Fair is jointly organized by the State Ministry of Science and Technology, Guangdong Provincial Government, and the Dongguan Municipal Government. It showcased a series of innovative R&D projects with exhibitors from over 20 countries and territories.
