As a fast-growing startup rooted in Hong Kong, CHAIN Technology Development was invited to be a special guest on a radio programme of Metro Radio to share its entrepreneur experience. With introducing its latest efforts on developing Smart City solutions, CHAIN has also tried to break down the barrier in public understanding of innovation and technology industry in Hong Kong.
Jackie Wong, Business Development Manager at CHAIN, appeared as a guest on the radio programme of “King King” on Metro Finance. Recognized as one of the leading Smart City solution providers in Hong Kong, CHAIN’s core product, Hybrid Reality Platform (HRP), is a Smart City management system that changes the way of massive geo-spatial data visualization, and increase management efficiency, especially in construction industry.
“HRP combines Big Data analytics with 3D Modeling technology, such as 3D Mapping and Building Information Modeling (BIM), that enables users to monitor and manage construction projects throughout the entire lifecycle: from design, construction to facility management stages. It’s like a black box for construction project in the past. Our users can oversee different levels of temporal and spatial data of a project in a single visualized dashboard now! It’s truly a game-changer in Smart City industry.” Jackie said.
CHAIN is one of the incubatees of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation’s LEAP programme which nurtures high potential startups into regional/global companies by providing value-added services. “We are delighted to be chosen as a LEAP startup, which enables our collaboration with multi-national enterprises like Lenovo, to promote Virtual Reality technology application. Apart from receiving guidance and comments by experts in various fields, LEAP programme really speeds up the matching progress for our company to work with top partners.” Jackie said.
