CHAIN Technology Development was proud to announce to be chosen as the finalist in the category of Reality Modelling of The Year in Infrastructure 2018 Awards launched by Bentley Systems. CHAIN’s participating works of Virtual Smart Campus of the Hong Kong Science Park gave a peek into the future development of Smart City.

The Virtual Smart Campus CHAIN has created for Science Park is powered by its flagship product Hybrid Reality Platform (HRP) which enables the integration of sophisticated 3D digital maps, 3D models, reality meshes, and a wide range of geospatial data. In short, CHAIN turned the virtual model of Science Park into the foundation of a data hub which additional features could be built on.

“Smart Campus Platform is a centralized and cloud-based geo-intelligent data hub, which means all IoT data imported will all be geo-tagged. This is particular important for the purposes of construction and planning.” Ms Jackie Wong, Business Development Manager at CHAIN, presented at the award ceremony held in London in October 2018.

Apart from the above applications, HRP could also set as a unified dashboard for Smart Facility Management, Leasing, Security, Mobility, Living and much more. All stakeholders could coordinate on this mutual platform easily and efficiently to save time and cost. CHAIN believed today’s Smart Campus is tomorrow’s Smart City, with the vision to help transforming Hong Kong into a world-class connected city.
